T-5 INSTALLATION IN TRUCKS
or if you are using a bellhousing with motor mount ears.
Trucks use a different bellhousing than a car. It is both deeper and has motor mount ears.

To mount a T-5 to a truck bellhousing it must be a 3 speed bellhouisng.
1954-56 bellhousings will not work in 1957-60 trucks, no hyd slave mount.
The 4 speed bellhousing will not work
The shifter will be at the front edge of the seat.
An S-10 T-5 will not fit our adaption methods.
Due to the difference in length of the input shaft you must use a 1993 or older T-5.
The bellhouisng must be modified.
You must change your clutch disc.
Due to the difference in thickness of a truck and car clutch disc the pressure plate must be changed to a car pressure plate or the clutch will slip.
Using a car pressure plate requires a special throwout bearing.
We make the special throwout bearing.
This modification can also be done 215-223 6-cyl truck and 1953 Flat-head V-8 truck bellhousings.
